The Drive thru experience
This Year at Christmas Wonderland UK we have adapted the traditional Festive family experience. in the comfort of your vehicle you will be able to navigate your way around the site with stalls, lights and christmas displays.
You may put down your windows to let children see the surrounding better. You must remain in your vehicle at all times during this drive thru unless instructed to get out of your vehicles by staff or elves.
When you have completed the drive thru you will be instructed to park up in an area by staff. at this point you must remain in your vehicle until instructed by the elves to enter santa's grotto.
We have specially designed our santa's grotto experience so that every group will get to visit santa, every paying child recieves a gift and have a photo opportunity without the need to wait outside in a queue with other visitors. This also allows guest to be sheltered from the elements and remain in their vehicles until it is safe for each party to enter the grotto.
There will be sanitising stations on entry and exit of the grotto for all guest to use. by law it is compulsory that all guest over the age of 11 to wear a face covering. We ask that all guest provide their own face covering and abide by the law. Santa will be sat behind a perspex screen and will not be wearing a mask to keep the magic of christmas alive. You will then be given family photo opportunity with a festive backdrop setting.
on leaving the grotto you will have the opportunity to purchase photos and other merchandise from a counter. photo are not stored and will be deleted at the end of the day. you will not be able to re-enter the grotto once you have left. please make sure you are happy with your photos and all other purchases before leaving the grotto.
